  3. So, apparently in Lithuania reserving a “private double room” means a private room with ONE double sized bed.  My buddy and I reenacting our thoughts when we found out that we would be sharing a single BRO-Bed.

  5. If this video, “Guy Walks Across America” doesn’t make you want to get out and travel right now, nothing will.  Both the idea itself and the execution of stop-motion photography are awesome.

  7. In Riga we stayed at a hostel called the Naughty Squirrel.  It was much more than a great name: it was the best hostel in which I’ve ever stayed!  The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and colorful, and it was super social and a great place to meet people.  If you’re ever in Riga, I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

  12. So, we ate at something like the Lithuanian version of Chili’s, except it pretended to be a traditional farmhouse complete with this awesome mural and these props. Also, I ordered “cucumber water” which turned out tasting like pickle water with dill. Also, they had a dessert called “the Mexican” which was a scoop of ice cream wearing a pineapple sombrero. If you’re ever in the neighborhood, stop on by!
