    Thesis Time

    Guttenfelder’s iPhone Photos

    Further proving that it’s not the camera it’s the photographer, check out this photoset by AP Photographer David Guttenfelder.  He took all of the shots, including the one below, with his iPhone — resulting in one of the most captivating series I’ve ever seen.  Not bad for the device I send text messages and play shuffle board on.

    Yes, I’m a huge Apple nerd, but I was pretty excited to finally visit the 5th Avenue Apple Store in New York City!  It’s stunning from the outside, and absolutely filled with crowds on the inside.

    10 mobile apps for social good

    SocialBrite put together a great list of 10 mobile apps for social good.  Mobile apps are clearly the future of computing, so to see such a robust offering of ways to do good from your phone this early on gives me a lot of optimism for where we’ll be years from now.  

    My personal favorite, for obvious reasons, is The Extraordinaries, though I wish they had also included Citysourced.
