In Riga we stayed at a hostel called the Naughty Squirrel. It was much more than a great name: it was the best hostel in which I’ve ever stayed! The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and colorful, and it was super social and a great place to meet people. If you’re ever in Riga, I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
I bought this pastry in Riga since I had no idea what it was. It was sort of a combination of coffee and hazelnut flavors with vanilla cake. I’m still not really sure. It was a good decision, though.
