Tailgating in Austin
Texas fans could not have been more welcoming to us, a bunch of UCLA fans wandering around Austin. Not a single taunt or insult was thrown our way, and nearly every group we passed went out of their way to welcome us, check on us (“everyone being nice to y’all so far?”), or offer something to us. With over 100,000 fans in attendance, the tailgating spreads all around campus and spills into the city, including Scholz a cool beer garden we used as a meeting spot.
Texas knows how to tailgate!
