Episode 4 of the Ashoka Tech Podcast: The Founders...
On this week’s episode of the Ashoka Tech Podcast host Alex Budak interviews Mathias and Guillaume Craig, the cofounders of Blue Energy. Beard Papa Cream Puffs
The new trendy dessert?  Cream puffs. We went to Sawtelle’s little Japan town in West LA in search of a bakery with a strangely-bearded-sailor-looking-guy for a logo that serves freshly made cream puffs.  They have a mound of empty pastry shells behind the counter, and you have your choice of a few different flavors of filling: vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, among others.  You tell...

Southern California Roadtrip Highlights
Lots more photos and stories to come, but for now a few highlights of a crazy-packed weekend: A diverse, and occasionally embarrassing array of songs on my iphone for the drive down, some of which I had to defend to my friend (“right, so here’s why I have a 1920’s German pop song on here…”). Lunch at Damon and Pythias’ in Westwood with David, Rachel and Fay...

Winter in Europe: Christmas Markets
Winter in Los Angeles means temperatures occasionally drop below 70. Winter in Europe means cold, snow, and more cold. So why would I spend my winter break in Europe instead of LA? Thank you, Internet
On my flight last night on Virgin America, the guy sitting across the aisle from me was giving his wife a foot massage.  Good thing I had the internet to distract me!

Roadtrip to Princeton, New Jersey
I love UCLA, and I love random roadtrips, so when the opportunity came up to go watch UCLA play for the national championship in water polo held at Princeton University, it didn’t take much to convince me to join friends for a roadtrip up north.  Some photo highlights: An a capella group at an Ivy League?! Get it?
